Best with a combination of mechanical door protection, additional door security, body door or rear door security, pedal lock and supplementary electronics. On the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper, the most important first step is protecting the driver's door against the well-known Prick attack.

On the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper, the driver's door should be protected against the Prick attack first. After that, the sensible order depends on the vehicle type: on panel vans the rear door can be relevant, on semi-integrated motorhomes and alcove motorhomes mainly the body door. A pedal lock adds protection against vehicle theft.

This depends on the vehicle type. On panel vans, the driver's door and, depending on equipment, the rear door are especially relevant. On semi-integrated motorhomes and alcove motorhomes, the Prick attack usually affects the driver's door of the base vehicle; the body door should also be secured.

The break-in protection of the Fiat Ducato and identical vehicles has a glaring weak point: a burglar can pierce the thin sheet metal of the door with a pointed object and then trigger the central locking.

WOMOFIX Anti-Prick effectively prevents this. The robust theft protection consists of an additional, 1.5 mm thick stainless steel plate that reinforces the sheet metal. This makes piercing with hand tools significantly harder.

The sliding door has no lock, so there is no WOMOFIX Anti-Prick for it either.

For semi-integrated motorhomes, the driver's door of the base vehicle is the most important point for the WOMOFIX Pro. The body door should also be secured with a suitable additional lock. Depending on use, a pedal lock, hatch or rear garage security and an alarm system also make sense.
