On Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper from model year 2006 as well as identical vehicles such as Opel Movano from 2021 and Toyota Proace Max from 2025, the release mechanism of the central locking sits directly behind the thin door panel next to the driver's door lock.

If the panel is pierced at this spot, the central locking can be unlocked within seconds.

This method, known as the Prick attack, is considered one of the fastest, easiest and most inconspicuous ways to break into such a motorhome. Practised perpetrators work so routinely that passers-by often don't even recognise it as a break-in.
