WOMOFIX Anti-Prick Protection Plate Set – Driver and Rear Door

The WOMOFIX Anti-Prick protection plate set protects the driver’s door and rear door simultaneously against the Prick Attack. In this method, burglars pierce the door panel to manipulate the central locking linkage. The two 1.5 mm stainless-steel plates specifically reinforce the area around each lock cylinder and make such attacks virtually impossible.

For vehicles where both the driver’s door and rear door have a lock cylinder:

Important: The rear door must have a lock cylinder – otherwise the rear-door plate is not required. In that case, the driver’s-door protection or the economy set without rear-door protection plate is sufficient. Who is this set suitable for?

For vehicles whose driver’s door and rear door each have a lock cylinder. If the rear door has no lock cylinder, the driver’s-door protection is sufficient.

Is the set intended for the driver’s and passenger doors?

No. The set contains the protection plates for the driver’s door and rear door. No Anti-Prick protection plate is required on the passenger door or sliding door because there is no lock cylinder there and therefore no relevant point of attack for the Prick Attack.

How do I know whether my rear door needs a protection plate?

The decisive factor is whether the rear door has a lock cylinder. The burglary-protection configurator shows this for your specific vehicle.

Should I install Anti-Prick even if I have HEOSafe?

Yes. HEOSafe locks the doors, while Anti-Prick protects the vulnerable area at the lock cylinder against piercing. The difference is explained in the guide Prickstop vs. HEOSafe.
