WOMOFIX Anti-Prick Pro – Exterior Protection Plate Against Prick Attacks

WOMOFIX Anti-Prick Pro is a visible external protection plate made of 2 mm stainless steel against the Prick Attack. It is fitted to the outside of the door and reinforces the vulnerable area around the lock cylinder. Unlike the internal version, it is immediately visible from the outside and therefore acts as a deterrent. It can also be used to repair a door that has already been pierced quickly and cost-effectively – repair and burglary protection in one component.

Protection – inside or outside?

External and internal protection plates prevent piercing attempts equally effectively; the technical protective effect is identical. You do not need both versions. The difference lies in visibility: the external version is immediately visible and acts as a deterrent, while the internal version is concealed.

Choose the variant – 1 piece or set of 2

The driver’s door and rear door use the same protection plate. For vehicles whose rear door also has a lock cylinder, the set of 2 protects both the driver’s and rear doors. Choose “1 piece” for the driver’s door or “2 pieces” for the driver’s and rear doors.

Compatibility

Suitable for panel vans, semi-integrated motorhomes and alcove motorhomes with the original cab door of the base vehicle. Not suitable for fully integrated motorhomes.

Installation

Sealing and paint protection are optional

Additional sealing is not technically required. Vehicle doors are not designed to be completely watertight. Spray and rainwater enters the inside of the door, particularly at the window seal, and is drained back outside through drainage openings.

Optionally, you can apply a thin protective or sealing layer between the protection plate and the paintwork. Suitable materials include transparent body adhesive, body sealant, a non-curing sealing compound such as DEKASEAL 8936, closed-cell foam rubber or paint-protection film. Do not use absorbent materials.
